Hello, I am the CTO of BON VOYAGE CONSULTING, INC. (BVC). I haven't quit my previous job yet, so I will remain anonymous for the time being.
I share the vision of our CEO & President, Mr. Hayashi, and have decided to start a company with him. I have been working in the technical field for more than 20 years after completing my master's degree, so I would like to focus on technical topics here.
First of all, let me introduce myself.
For the first few years of my employment, I worked in a different field, but in 2000, I was transferred to a division within the company and became a software engineer. At that time, several projects to replace COBOL with JAVA were just underway in the company, and since there were not many engineers who were familiar with JAVA at that time, I studied and did quite a lot of core work. For example, since there was no development framework in place at the time, I created a framework similar to Struts with a book called J2EE Design Patterns in hand and had the development members use it.
For the first few years, I did waterfall development, but as the wave of agile development gradually swept in from overseas, I changed jobs around 2007 to a venture company building financial systems with the single-minded desire to do agile myself. Since moving to a financial venture company, I have developed many web applications in a small team.
In my career to date, I have had a fairly broad range of experience in the development of mainly WEB applications, from upstream processes to operations, from front-end to back-end. In terms of industry, I have dealt with BtoC and BtoB systems in the fields of finance, logistics, manufacturing, and e-commerce. While I was thinking that this kind of knowledge and experience could be useful for inexperienced engineers, Hayashi invited me to join BVC and I decided to join.
Recently, with the development of AI, the scope of what a single developer can do is expanding, but I think it is also becoming more difficult to determine how best to do it, so I would like to introduce technology from this point of view. Thank you.
