After a long career as a corporate employee, I co-founded a startup with a colleague to provide cross-border GTM and marketing support for Japanese or U.S. IT businesses and it has been two months since we launched. Currently, we are involved in two U.S. IT startup companies' projects to enter the Japanese market while also I study for the U.S. Certified Public Accountant exam (with the goal of obtaining a license in Washington State where I studied abroad long time ago!). It is an incredibly exciting time! Additionally, we have joined THE AMERICA-JAPAN SOCIETY,INC. and THE AMERICAN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE IN JAPAN actively working to build our broad network in the Japan and American business.

Although our company is still in its early stages, we have decided to accept a new member as an intern! Taiki who currently study abroad in the United States will participate in our corporate blog project remotely from Utah State. He will be bringing you the latest trends in American startups directly from “Silicon Slopes” (the major economic hub for technology and innovation along with California's “Silicon Valley” and Washington State's “Silicon Forest”)! Please stay tuned!

Welcome on board, Taiki! 😊👏
We are so happy to have you as a global marketing intern. Let's enjoy working together to become a solid bridge between Japan and the United States! Thank you for choosing our company! 🤝

---------------------------------------------------------

Hello, my name is Taiki. This time, I decided to do a marketing internship remotely from the US at BON VOYAGE CONSULTING, INC.

I was born in Nagano Prefecture and went to high school at Nihon University Third High School in Tokyo, where I played baseball for a total of 12 years. After graduating from high school, I studied abroad in the United States instead of at a Japanese university, where I am currently pursuing my academic studies.

My future goal is to start my own business. I have a longing to work and live by my own will without being bound by time and place. And my ideal is to create a world line where all races live in harmony and encourage each other. It may be a bit exaggerated, but I seriously dream of such a world. LOL

The turning point in my life was my decision to study abroad and my encounter with Tatsuro, the CEO.

I had always been interested in international work, but I had never had the opportunity to actually get involved in it, and through my life in the U.S., I was just vaguely living day by day, experiencing the expansion of values and cultural differences. I was searching for a way to approach my ideal job when I met him. He supports foreign companies in their expansion into Japan and has a broad international network. I saw in him the overlap between the future I was aiming for and the way I wanted to work. I am deeply grateful to be involved with this company because I believe that international connections encourage people to take an interest in foreign countries, promote exchanges, and expand the circle of people to people.

Also, the experience of working with a team to build things in the early startup phase is very rewarding for me, and it stirs my excitement to take on more challenges.

My main reason for working for this company is to enhance my experience. I also want to be a person who can GIVE to the people who care about me and what you care about.

Meeting Tatsuro has given me new perspectives and values. I have learned a lot from working with him, and we have been able to nurture fresh ways of thinking together.

It is a long way off in the future that I, who am still a nobody, can make someone happy, but I believe in such a future and will make every effort without forgetting to thank both of you who gave me this opportunity.

Thank you again from the bottom of my heart for this precious opportunity.
