I resigned from Salesforce yesterday and started a new career today.
Utilizing my networks, experience, skills and knowledge that I cultivate through my marketing work responsible for not only the Japanese market but also the APAC markets at the global mega-tech companies such as Salesforce, Facebook (now Meta Platforms), Microsoft, and Cybertrust (SoftBank group), my knowledge from studying for the US CPA exam that I am currently working on, my networks, experience, and knowledge from studying abroad in the US, and also anything else I can bring to the table, I started the following businesses with my old university colleague (an experienced software engineer) whom we shared lots of joys and challenges in the university karate club during our college days and are tightly bonded with a strong trust each other.
- BtoB marketing strategies and tactics development and execution support for SaaS solutions (in Japan & Cross-border)
- Go-To-Market
- Product & Campaign Marketing
- LinkedIn Marketing
- Support for American SaaS companies to enter the Japanese market
- SaaS business support solutions development and selling
As a first step, we are supporting a leading American IT start-up company in the field of strategic intelligence solutions with GTM and marketing for their entry into the Japanese market. Their solutions are very innovative and we have not seen in Japanese and the APAC markets yet, so we are very excited and passionate about supporting their cross-border market entry initiative!
(1) Incorporated my sole proprietorship that I started as a side business a few years ago, a marketing consulting business for Japanese IT startups into a corporation (I kept dormant while working at Salesforce so that it would not compete with my job at Salesforce),
(2) Expanded the scope of the business by joining forces with a fellow software engineer who is another director and the CTO of our company,
(3) Rebranded the company name to BON VOYAGE CONSULTING,
we were just embarking on a new professional journey.
“Bon Voyage” means “Have a nice voyage!” “Have a nice trip!” to the people who are about to embark on a voyage or a trip with wishing them safety on their way.
Our company name reflects our strong wish “May SaaS startup companies take a successful first step on their journey from SaaS solution development and launch to further business growth and expansion into global markets!”
On May 1, 2025, BVC finally launched!
"Unleashing Your Potential, Our Passion!"
